Overview:

The “Mechanic Diesel” trade focuses on professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills, with project work and extracurricular activities to enhance confidence.

Professional Skills:

  • Follow safety protocols and identify tools, equipment, and raw materials.
  • Perform measuring, marking, fastening, and fitting operations.
  • Understand basic electricity, test electrical parameters, and maintain batteries.
  • Practice arc and gas welding to create joints.
  • Identify hydraulic, pneumatic, and brake system components.
  • Dismantle and overhaul diesel engines (LMV), including cylinder head, valve train, piston, and crankshaft.
  • Reassemble and test engines as per workshop manuals.
  • Maintain cooling, lubrication, intake, exhaust, and fuel systems.
  • Repair and overhaul starters and alternators.
  • Troubleshoot engine issues in LMV/HMV.

Job Opportunities:
