Duration: Two Years
Overview:
The “Machinist” trade trains candidates over two years in professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills, with project work and extracurricular activities.
Professional Skills:
First Year:
- Perform basic fitting (filing, drilling, tapping) with ±0.25 mm accuracy.
- Create sliding, T-fit, and square fits with ±0.2 mm accuracy.
- Perform lathe operations (turning, threading).
- Operate slotting and milling machines with ±0.04 mm accuracy.
- Perform surface and cylindrical grinding with ±0.01 mm accuracy.
Second Year:
- Grind cutting tools and perform advanced milling (boring, gear cutting).
- Operate CNC turning and milling machines, including programming.
- Machine complex components (bevel gears, worm threads) with ±0.05 mm accuracy.
- Perform repair and maintenance work.
