Duration: Two Years

Overview:

The “Machinist” trade trains candidates over two years in professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills, with project work and extracurricular activities.

Professional Skills:
First Year:

  • Perform basic fitting (filing, drilling, tapping) with ±0.25 mm accuracy.
  • Create sliding, T-fit, and square fits with ±0.2 mm accuracy.
  • Perform lathe operations (turning, threading).
  • Operate slotting and milling machines with ±0.04 mm accuracy.
  • Perform surface and cylindrical grinding with ±0.01 mm accuracy.

Second Year:

  • Grind cutting tools and perform advanced milling (boring, gear cutting).
  • Operate CNC turning and milling machines, including programming.
  • Machine complex components (bevel gears, worm threads) with ±0.05 mm accuracy.
  • Perform repair and maintenance work.
