Overview:

The “Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance” trade trains candidates over two years in professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills, with project work and extracurricular activities.

Professional Skills:
First Year:

  • Follow safety protocols and work with electrical components.
  • Test resistors, inductors, capacitors, diodes, and transistors.
  • Construct power supplies and digital circuits using logic gates.
  • Use CRO to measure voltage and frequency.
  • Assemble and maintain desktop/laptop hardware and install software.

Second Year:

  • Install and configure Linux OS, printers, and scanners.
  • Maintain UPS, modems, and display/sound cards.
  • Set up and secure networking systems and Windows/Linux servers.
  • Troubleshoot tablets, smart devices, and solar panels.
  • Configure DNS, routing, and server network security.
