Overview:

The “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant” trade trains candidates in professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills. The course includes project work and extracurricular activities to build confidence.

Professional Skills:

• Understand safety, environment, and use of fire extinguishers.
• Work with Linux interface and software installation.
• Use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Access for database management.
• Set up and configure network systems.
• Apply advanced Excel concepts.
• Use the internet for browsing, official/social communication, and E-commerce transactions.
• Learn cyber security to protect against cybercrimes.
• Use cloud services for projects.
• Develop basic programming techniques, algorithms, and flowcharts.
• Create static webpages using HTML.
• Learn JavaScript for dynamic webpages and hosting on registered domains.
• Develop programs using Python.
• Participate in industrial visits or projects.

Job Opportunities:
